you could also tie this to one of the Great Barrier Reef foundations where a percentage of the design could be donated back to help the coral reefs.

You got a great concept! I love it.
Maybe you can try to dye the fabric with gradient colour, such as from blue to white，which represents the gradual bleaching of a coral

Hi uprising, I am wondering if anyone would have any insight or suggestions with the use of wearable tech in particular optic fibre within a textile garment.
I think you need to tie in the recycled materials in to the overarching 'sustainability' aspect of the project
