A greate concept Pandeyr.
A fee quick things,
1. Can you add a link to your blog, would be great for the community to read more about your work.
2. If you were to half your target market, which group would you keep. The tighter you define your TM the more success you will have. I know this sounds counter intuitive, as you will want to reach as many people as possible, but refining down to a small precise group will give you a much stronger direction. From there you will have a strong understanding of your TM and really know their interests and concerns.
3. How will you collect the denim. If you can share some ideas around how you will be collecting from waste streams that will help us direct our responses.
Looking forward to seeing your project develop.

This is a great concept Richa!
Considering denim production contributes majorly to water waste and carbon emissions as well... this is a really sustainable fashion alternative and is really keeping the future in mind.
I look forward to seeing this develop further!
Great work :)
Fantastic idea Pandeyr, promoting environmental, economic and social sustainability. As far as clothing materials go, denim has a prolonged lifespan, often not taken advantage of due to fast fashion trends and individuals’ sizing changes.
With your designs, the best course of action would be to research current trending fashion styles, as your target audience (Gen Z) are inclined to purchase garments that are “in vogue”. These trends are usually prevalent on social media apps, including YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
For your own marketing, I would recommend creating social media accounts with the intention of spreading your ideas and products to a large group of consumers in your target audience. Gen Z is more responsive to brands through online mediums where discussions and conversations with the company and other users are available. Furthermore, the younger generations are supportive of companies making an environmental change, something you are prioritising. In the future, partnering with influencers or celebrities can also help market your products online.
Some reports into the consumerism and marketing for Gen Z are linked below.
Good luck with your project.

Hi UpRising,
Thank you for your feedback, the blog mentioned is purely to state where the statistic is extracted from, this is not my blog. If I were to target my target market I would shorten it to 16-25 and the denim is sourced through friends and family who have donated pairs of denim garments they don't use anymore, as a backup plan if I don't have enough I may buy used denim garments from thrift stores.
Hi. I definitely agree with the implementation of recyclable denim in the fashion industry. This innovative approach not only reduces waste but also promotes sustainability by utilizing recycled materials without compromising style or quality. It's a step in the right direction towards a more eco-conscious and responsible fashion ecosystem, and I commend brands and designers who are leading the way in this important movement. Great work!
Congratulations Pandeyr you are nearly there.
If you could update the image on your Post to show a little collage of your projects development that would be fantastic. We will be awarding the top three UpRising design projects for 2024 and the UpRising alliance and community love to see the journey of your design.
There is a little feedback survey, if you could fill it in that would fantastic as it really helps us to understand how we can better help next years design students.

It also has an option for you to select if you would like to continue to be involved in UpRising next year and beyond. Lots of interesting ways to continue to build connections within the design industry. Great for your resume and career paths.
Wishing you all the best with your trials and finishing touches on your MDP.
Shout out if we can help in any way.
Great idea though I often wonder why denim is still a thing in 2024 anyway. By in large, we're not cowboys or cowgirls these days. Why did/does this denim thing continue to stick around generation after generation?
