Brilliant idea Phoebe. So many great wins here. Flexible and adaptive recovery wear also helps in reducing further injury.
Eyes looking around to all the different applications of your idea!
How can we help bring this to market already!
@UpRising, Thank you so much. I am very excited about this project. I've been trying to make this project as inclusive as possible, as I know that everyone's situation is different. Because of this, I am also going to make a DIY adaptive clothing kit so that school uniforms or other clothes have the ability to suit everybody. I would love to hear any insights and ideas you have surrounding my project and I am so grateful for your support.
Hi Phoebe, I think this is a great idea which could help many children with disabilities to gain independence. Have you considered using Velcro instead of magnets for the clothing? This may be a more lightweight solution and would be more comfortable for a child with disabilities. Another way to expand on this idea would be to include different designs for different seasons and occasions. For example, light and breathable fabrics for summer months and warm jackets for winter time. There could also be designs for formal clothing such as dresses and buttoned shirts. This would foster inclusivity and allow for disabled children to have their own fashion sense, which can be an important element in self-confidence, especially for young people.
Kind regards,

Hi Phoebe, I also think this is a great idea to help children with disabilities. I do believe some areas need to be looked into further as some things have not been considered completely. Regarding the temporary impairments, I assumed this would include broken bones, etc. If this is the case, the clothing items can be used, but it would only be for some time. Although they can wear this beyond that period, they will grow out of the clothing item before they have another chance to wear it.
The other aspect that I believe needs to be included is what disability the child might have. This needs to be further looked into as children with Down syndrome will benefit from this drastically as they can develop independence - so great job there. but regarding children with autism and other similar disabilities, this might affect them more negatively. This is because they can become oversimulated easily and might find this as less beneficial.
Regarding these points, I believe the idea is great, but the target customers may need to be adjusted as it is quite a large group and may not be beneficial for some.

Hi Phoebe,
Feeling included is so important – great to see you thinking about accessibility and inclusion! Good luck with the project.
