Turning old bikes into light

I am designing a light installation made from purely unusable and upcycled bike parts, to advertise a specific organisation who take in and donate old bikes to people in need. This will capture the attention of members of the public through bright lights and shadows, advising them of what they can do with their old bikes, as well as how they can help individuals in poorer communities. This aims to reduce the environmental impact of unusable bike parts and old bikes in landfill.

I am seeking guidance into advertising a specific organisation through an art installation rather than using words.

Such a clever idea Ellen. I love the play on words here, 'shining a light on this issue'. There are so many great organisiations doing important work to link non used bikes to communities who need them. Quick search found 4 or 5 great examples. https://asf.org.au/projects/revolve-recycling-foundation/500-bikes-for-kids Keen to see which one you go with.

PS Not sure if you have tried using 'Notes' in an iphone to take scans of drawings. The images come up really sharp and clear. Its a little known tool that most IPhones have but not many know about.

@PJM, I am hoping to promote a national organisation called 'Bikes4Life,' who receive donations of old bikes and send them to people in need throughout the world, such as communities in Uganda and Cambodia!

Multi-Purpose Convertible Coffee Table to Working-From-Home Desk

As working from home has increased since the COVID-19 lockdowns, there is a genuine need for furniture that is office/work friendly and can be multi-purpose in a home. Dollhouse to Support Young Autistic Children

The purpose of my dollhouse design is to help meet the needs of children with ASD, and incorporate that into one space that encourages mental and tactile stimulation and growth. The goal is to make this a product that helps a child learn, grow, and emotionally regulate. I plan to meet these needs by building a dollhouse that encourages an ergonomic relationship. My product consists of various rooms filled with items that the children can engage with. Underneath, there will be a considerable amount of space for the storage of all smaller items, this makes transportation and tidiness much easier.
