I am to create a portable, biophilic, modular performance space designed to unfold like a blooming flower that focuses on renewal and sustainability, aiming to revitalise and foster connection, engagement, and entertainment in rural Australian communities. In light of the challenges these regions have faced, particularly due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the widening digital divide caused by rapid technological advancements, the theatre serves as a beacon of cultural and social revitalisation. I am seeking guidance on modular construction strategies, sustainable and durable materials for large-scale productions, and recommendations for modelling programs to bring this vision to life

Do you have any particual regional communities in mind yet?

Would it be school based or community based?

Thank you so much for your comment PJM, I am currently looking at regional communities in general across Australia while drawing on my knowledge of places I have visited in person such as Coonabarabran, Broken Hill and Lightning Ridge. My MDP will be more focused towards communities in general rather than schools. If there are any insights you could provide that would be amazing.

Dollhouse to Support Young Autistic Children

The purpose of my dollhouse design is to help meet the needs of children with ASD, and incorporate that into one space that encourages mental and tactile stimulation and growth. The goal is to make this a product that helps a child learn, grow, and emotionally regulate. I plan to meet these needs by building a dollhouse that encourages an ergonomic relationship. My product consists of various rooms filled with items that the children can engage with. Underneath, there will be a considerable amount of space for the storage of all smaller items, this makes transportation and tidiness much easier.
